On the AANAC.org website, find the orange “My Account” button at the top right corner of the page. Click on the button, which will take you to a new page with your account and contact information for review and edit. You can hover over the “My Account” button to see other options such as My Receipts, My Membership, and My Courses.
Find the "My Membership" option, which can be found in the drop-down menu under the orange My Account button at the top right corner of the page. Select it and find the option to renew in the center of the page.
You can ask your question on AANAConnect, AANAC’s members-only private, online community including peers and experts in the long-term care field. AANAConnect is a great place to seek advice, ask questions, offer expertise, find tools and documents, and build a support system.
To post your question, sign in on AANAC.org and find “Community” on the top toolbar of the AANAC homepage. Once you login to AANAConnect, find the option to “Participate” in the center of the purple toolbar and click on it. A drop down menu will appear. Select the first option, “Post a Message.” Create your post just as you would an email. Select a discussion group to send to, enter a subject, and type your message above your signature.
That’s okay. If you have a complicated question, write out the question as clearly as possible to start the conversation. Once you receive a response to your question, you will have the opportunity to respond and clarify as needed.
We generally suggest that you wait 24 hours for a response. Each morning, a digest email of the previous day’s questions are sent out to all subscribers. Many questions receive a response after this email is sent. If you need a question answered sooner, put “urgent” in the subject line.
No. Your membership and certification have two separate cycles. Membership dues are annual ($119 per year). RAC-CT recertification needs to be completed every two years and the courses are priced individually.
A two-year membership saves you time and money, as you renew once for two years at a time, and the price is discounted to $209. This option also allows you to sync your membership dues with your RAC-CT certification cycle (which must be renewed every two years.) If your membership is due for renewal and you are certifying or re-certifying, you can renew to the two-year membership to sync your certification and membership cycles.
No. If you renew early, your membership will be extended one year from the current expiration date.
AANAC offers a retirement membership for a one-time payment of $119 for lifetime membership access. You may wish to keep your membership current even after you retire to keep your certification current, to stay abreast of trends in long-term care, and to support those with less experience in the field. No, each individual's membership is non-transferrable and non-refundable.
When you login to AANAC.org, find "My Receipts" in the upper right hand corner of the page. Here you can download your paid invoice to provide to your employer.
No. If you are a PDP Member or if your individual membership dues are paid by your employer, you can still list your home address as your primary address.

When you select "Post a Job," you can sign in as an AANAC member to receive member pricing. Or, you can sign in as a "Guest." If you choose to sign in as a "Guest," you will be prompted to create an account.

Yes. You can enroll or purchase webinars live or on-demand and invite multiple staff to participate in the webinar with you. However, the only one who will receive CEU credits is the one registered for the webinar.
Yes, by joining AANAC you will have the opportunity to participate in advocacy efforts and volunteer to help shape the future of long-term care. To be alerted about opportunities, join the "Volunteer" community on AANAConnect.

Yes. However, if you become a member you will receive up to 50% off education and certification opportunities, as well as discounts on educational workshops and conference registration.
No, you cannot receive education discounts with the trial access. We encourage you to join AANAC to receive full member benefits.
Multiple users are not permitted to access the benefits of an individual's membership account. An individual membership is only for the member whose name the account is in. This is important to maintain the integrity of each member's education records.
Yes. AANAC offers a student membership for $25 per year. Membership with AANAC helps students to be knowledgeable about changes in the field, gives students access to AANAC publications which can be used for scholarly work, gives students access to the career center, and more! AANAC has a career center where you can find your next dream job or hire a new team member. Jobs can be posted by members or non-members, although members receive a discounted rate for job postings and resumes. To explore the career center, find "Jobs" on the top toolbar of AANAC.org. Once on the career page, select "Employers," "Job Seekers," or "Post a Job."
