With the release of the annual Medicare SNF PPS Proposed Rule, facilities have been notified of potentially four new QRP QMs being added to two new ones slotted for next year. Also, the CMS Advanced Notice of Proposed Rulemaking was released the same day, detailing a proposed NEW Medicare A payment system, putting an end to current RUGs IV. These changes will impact NACs, therapists, and facility staff in significant ways.
